Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert procedural nursing care in the cardiac cath lab, including support for PCI and vascular studies
- Perform patient preparation and recovery in the prep-recovery area, ensuring comfort and safety
- Serve as circulating RN during procedures, maintaining sterile field and coordinating the team
- Respond quickly and confidently as part of the on-call STEMI team to support emergent cardiac care
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor hemodynamics, and communicate critical findings
- Document procedures, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely
- Participate in specialty competency testing and maintain required certifications to ensure best practices
Qualifications
- Current New York State RN license (required)
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- Procedural cardiac cath lab experience (preferred minimum experience in procedural cases)
- Emergency STEMI team on-call experience
- Ability to pass Trinity specialty competency testing and facility health screenings
- Comfort working scheduled weekends and on-call rotations
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of cardiac cath lab procedures, PCI techniques, and vascular studies
- Skilled in patient prep and recovery protocols and post-procedure monitoring
- Proficient in circulating RN duties, sterile technique, and intraoperative coordination
- Ability to recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies and STEMI protocols
- Effective clinical documentation and clear communication with interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with specialty competency testing and facility-specific policies
