Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Perform timely and accurate documentation of care and observations
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and follow infection control protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient needs in a correctional facility setting

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Available to work the assigned schedule: Saturday through Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Willingness to complete the provided two-week training/orientation
• Comfortable working in a correctional facility environment

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental patient care skills (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Strong communication and teamwork with nursing staff
• Accurate documentation and time management
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safety protocols
