Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across multiple specialties including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Ortho, and more
Float within Zone 4 facilities to support patients from general MS-Tele to specialized units like Rehab, Renal, and ED Observation
Monitor and manage titratable drips such as Heparin while maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and nursing assistants to ensure seamless patient care
Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while upholding the highest clinical standards

Qualifications

Active RN license and 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Neuro experience preferred along with familiarity using Alaris pumps and EPIC charting
Willingness to float throughout a 60-mile radius and maintain flexibility with scheduling

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills across adult-geriatric populations
Comfort managing cardiac drips, post-surgical patients, and stable long-term placements
Ability to read telemetry strips and respond confidently to changing patient needs
Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced float environments
