Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules, weekends and holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for multiple facilities from our advanced Virtual Hospital command center
Detect and report dangerous arrhythmias quickly to protect patient safety across the network
Follow established protocols to notify local RN staff of critical rhythm changes
Accurately document and communicate findings to improve patient outcomes and department metrics
Collaborate with the care team while working independently in a high-tech centralized monitoring unit

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience demonstrating EKG interpretation skills
Graduation from an accredited program that includes EKG Interpretation training
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam with lethal rhythms (one attempt only)
Ability to work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts including weekends and holidays
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage up to 60 patients simultaneously using advanced monitoring technology
