Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across MedSurg Telemetry and Progressive Care units
Float between campuses to support patients with cardiac, post-surgical, and geriatric needs
Titrate and manage critical drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care
Support patients recovering from cardiac cath procedures, CABG, and orthopedic surgeries

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience
Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills
Comfortable floating between MedSurg Tele and PCU units

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac rhythm interpretation and monitoring
Titration of critical care drips
Post-cardiac cath and CABG recovery care
BiPAP, CPAP, and heated high-flow oxygen management
Geriatric and orthopedic patient care
