Location: Chandler, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to neuro patients, including post-surgical and stroke recovery
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, recognizing and responding to dysrhythmias
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on conditions and recovery processes
Maintain sterile technique during procedures and wound care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Neuro Telemetry
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
COVID-19 vaccination or approved declination
Ability to interpret EKGs and recognize dysrhythmias

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in neuro nursing and telemetry monitoring
Proficient in EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
Strong sterile technique skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with 1:3-4 patient ratios
