Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance; weekend rotation required (6-9 shifts per 6 weeks)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse adult-geriatric patient population in a dynamic float pool setting
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area) as assigned, including Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, and others
Monitor and manage telemetry patients, including titration of Heparin drips as needed
Collaborate with charge nurses and support staff to ensure seamless patient care across various units such as Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, and more
Adapt quickly to changing assignments and unit needs, maintaining flexibility and a positive attitude

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of MS-Tele experience required
Prior neuro experience preferred
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and obtain housing that makes this feasible
Willingness to undergo candidate interview with MedSol Clinical Team

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Knowledge of cardiac, neuro, oncology, renal, ortho, and general medical-surgical nursing
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required
Strong communication and adaptability skills for floating across multiple facilities
