Location: Redding, California

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, including every 3rd weekend. Typically Monday through Friday.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions to help patients regain independence
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PTs and SLPs
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
Document patient progress thoroughly in Cerner EMR
Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as needed

Qualifications

Valid California Occupational Therapy license
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy specialty
At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
Open to first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of inpatient rehab protocols and best practices
