Location: Omaha, NE

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring needs
Titrate medications such as Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications as ordered
Collaborate with Charge Nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed to support hospital operations
Maintain a positive attitude and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required to verify 50-mile radius
Ability to pass open-book exam with 90% during orientation
No artificial nails allowed (fingernail policy)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to titrate intravenous medications
Knowledge of cardiac, nephrology, and stroke patient care
Team-oriented with a willingness to help others
