Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and follow-up assessments for acute inpatients and outpatients
Perform communication evaluations and implement treatment plans for post-concussion, CVA, TBI, and head/neck cancer patients
Administer standardized outpatient tests to guide therapy and track progress
Collaborate with rehab aides and interdisciplinary team at a Level 2 Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center

Qualifications

CCC-SLP credential (required, no CCC-A accepted)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Independence in bedside swallow evaluation and communication evaluation
Experience in outpatient standardized test administration

Knowledge & Skills

Ability to float to St. Francis, St. Clare, and St. Anthony facilities
Comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient settings
