Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and assess progressive care patients with complex conditions
Administer medications and titrate drips including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Provide education and support to patients and their families
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards
Respond quickly to changes in patient status and emergencies

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or step-down experience preferred
Driver's license required for verification of residency (50-mile radius rule)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficient in titrating cardiac and neurological drips
Knowledge of adult and geriatric patient populations with cardiac, nephrology, and stroke diagnoses
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
