Location: Redding, CA

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to acute care patients
Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Document patient progress using Cerner EMR system
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Qualifications

Current California Occupational Therapy license (required)
BLS certification from AHA (required)
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
Open to first-time travelers - we welcome you!

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in acute care occupational therapy
Proficient with Cerner electronic medical records
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt to fast-paced hospital environment
