Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable shifts scheduled via Qgenda; includes mandatory call 2-3 times per 6-week schedule with 20-minute response for trauma, 30-minute for non-trauma

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive perioperative care for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures including neuro, spine, ortho, vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, gyn, urology, ENT, and robotic surgeries
Perform scrubbing and circulating roles to ensure seamless surgical operations
Collaborate with surgical team to maintain a sterile environment and optimize patient outcomes
Utilize Epic EMR system for accurate documentation and communication
Participate in on-call rotations with rapid response requirements to support trauma and emergency cases

Qualifications

2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
Trauma nursing experience required
Robotics (DaVinci) experience required
BLS certification required
Epic EMR experience required
Ability to respond to call within 20 minutes for trauma, 30 minutes for non-trauma

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in OR nursing including perioperative care, aseptic technique, and surgical instrumentation
Proficiency in trauma care and emergency response
Skilled in robotic surgery assistance, specifically DaVinci system
Competent in scrubbing and circulating for various surgical specialties
Strong communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment
