End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM / 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM), self-scheduling with cyclic rotation, every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a Med Surg/Ortho unit
Specialize in post-operative care for total joint replacements and spine surgeries
Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Educate patients and families on recovery plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska
BLS certification from AHA (required)
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience preferred
Valid driver's license required at submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage a 5-6 patient load efficiently
Proficiency in pain management and IV therapy
Willingness to learn and take ownership within the department
