Location: Bryan, Texas

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; rotating weekends (2 weekends per month)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based interventions to improve patient mobility and function
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs
- Document patient progress accurately in EMR (Meditech)
- Mentor and precept new staff as needed
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Texas
- Previous acute care experience preferred
- BLS certification from AHA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of acute care rehabilitation practices
- Proficient in EMR systems, specifically Meditech
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload including ortho, neuro, surgical, and critical care patients
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Team-oriented with ability to work independently
