Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, every third weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory therapy to patients from neonates to geriatrics across all facility areas
Independently assess patient needs and implement appropriate ventilator and oxygen therapy using Airvo, PB 840/980, Hamilton C1, and V-60 Respironics
Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
Respond to emergencies in Level II trauma, ICU, and NICU settings with confidence
Make critical clinical judgments and adjust treatments in real-time for optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active ND state respiratory therapy license required
RRT or CRT credential from the NBRC
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Proven NICU experience is a must
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Airvo high flow therapy, PB 840 and 980 ventilators, Hamilton C1, and V-60 Respironics
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable working with neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
