Location: Glendale, Arizona

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, including every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED setting, managing patients with ESI 3-4 acuity
Perform labs, EKGs, patient transfers, and assist with procedures as needed
Collaborate with a positive, team-oriented staff including PCTs and paramedics
Take charge nurse role when census is high (no patient assignment if >20 patients)
Maintain sterile field during central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertions in SIMs lab
Float between Glendale and Litchfield FSED locations as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of ED experience preferred
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend
Must pass DYS exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts, 6-month DNU if failed)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR
Telemetry monitoring experience with Phillips systems
Strong understanding of sterile technique for central line and Foley care
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
