Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: College Station, TX
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts starting at 6:45 AM/PM with mid-shifts at 9, 11, 1, 3; every other weekend; holidays as per rotation
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate emergency care to a diverse patient population
- Manage trauma, cardiac, stroke, and pediatric emergencies
- Perform EKGs and interpret telemetry strips independently
- Collaborate with a dedicated team including MDs, midlevels, and PCTs
- Care for holds and assist with floating when needed
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation and patient assessment
Qualifications
- 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
- First-time travelers welcome
- Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia test (83%) prior to start
- No direct employment with CommonSpirit facilities within the past year
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in all common ER drips (pressors, sedation, etc.)
- Comfortable with pediatric, trauma, and stroke patients
- Strong telemetry and rhythm interpretation skills
- Ability to troubleshoot RT equipment (vents, CPAP, BiPAP, high flow)
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
