Shift Type: Per Diem - Various Days, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to elderly residents, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
Collaborate with the care team to deliver personalized care plans

Qualifications

Active GNA certification in the state of Maryland
Current CPR certification (BLS preferred)
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of geriatric care principles and practices
Understanding of infection control protocols
Skill in using electronic health records (EHR) is a plus
Ability to lift and transfer residents safely
