Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, flexible schedule (per diem)

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to students in a school health setting
Assist with activities of daily living and medical procedures
Monitor and report changes in student health status
Maintain accurate documentation and records
Collaborate with school nurses and healthcare team
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for students

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in California
BLS certification from American Heart Association
Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient care
Understanding of infection control protocols
Skilled in taking vital signs and documenting
Excellent observational and reporting skills
Compassionate and patient demeanor
