Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible days, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shifts

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to geriatric residents
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Support residents with mobility and transfers
Engage residents in meaningful activities and companionship
Maintain a clean and safe environment

Qualifications

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Current CPR certification
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of geriatric care principles
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
Ability to use electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Strong interpersonal skills
Time management and adaptability
