Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in outpatient settings
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and quality of life
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulations
Provide compassionate care that empowers patients to achieve their goals

Qualifications

Current Speech Language Pathologist license in Arizona (or ability to obtain before start)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
Minimum 1 year of outpatient experience preferred, but new grads welcome to apply
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family interaction

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Patient-centered approach with a focus on functional outcomes
