Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality PET/CT scans on patients using advanced imaging technology
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient reactions during procedures
Ensure patient safety and maintain a compassionate, professional environment
Operate and calibrate imaging equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed
Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate imaging results

Qualifications

Valid California state license in Nuclear Medicine Technology (required)
ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification (required)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)
Experience with PET/CT imaging (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Proficiency in PET/CT acquisition protocols and image processing
Strong patient positioning and immobilization techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
Ability to maintain equipment and perform quality control checks
