Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality PET/CT scans to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient reactions
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize imaging protocols
Maintain equipment and adhere to radiation safety standards
Educate patients on procedures and post-scan care

Qualifications

Valid California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with PET certification
ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
BLS certification from AHA required
Minimum 1 year of experience in PET/CT imaging preferred
Excellent patient care and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in PET/CT scanner operation and image processing
Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical administration and radiation safety
Strong anatomical and physiological understanding
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with focus on image quality and patient safety
