Location: Bismarck, ND

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekly; every other weekend and holiday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a telemetry and cardiac unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate drips (Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, Lasix, low-dose Dopamine)
- Manage PCU-level care overflow with a 1:3 patient ratio
- Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
- Assist with Bipap, trachs, Airvo, and other respiratory equipment as needed
- Float to other units as helping hands, including PCU, MS, and ER holds
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of PCU or telemetry experience
- Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
- Experience with titrating cardiac drips
- Epic experience preferred but not required
