Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-17-2026

End Date: 09-16-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM; call required one weeknight per week and three weekend days per month (24-hour shifts)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub in on a variety of complex surgeries including neuro, ortho trauma, and total joint procedures
Independently perform cranial procedures and support neuro-trauma call
Assist with robotic surgeries using Da Vinci, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis technologies
Collaborate with a fast-paced surgical team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
Float to sterile processing when needed to support the department

Qualifications

Active BLS certification required
CST certification preferred but not required
Must have orthopedic trauma experience and total joint experience
Must be competent in neuro surgery and cranial procedures
Ability to scrub independently and take neuro-trauma call
Strong work ethic and willingness to speak up for patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in general OR procedures including orthopedics, urology, ENT, and neurosurgery
Proficiency with Da Vinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
Experience with Level II trauma cases
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
