Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (days), self-scheduling, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Monitor and titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT, OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed
Utilize EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps for efficient patient care
Participate in hourly rounding to enhance patient experience

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of PCU and oncology experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC and Chemotherapy Certification required
EPIC experience preferred but not required
Willing to take and pass an open-book exam during orientation
Valid driver's license required for submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in chemotherapeutic agent administration and monitoring
Comfortable with ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000) - training provided
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to float to different units within skill level
Cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse patient populations
