Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (NOC), includes weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to adult and neonatal patients in an inpatient setting
Set up and manage ventilators (PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis) and BiPAP/CPAP equipment
Draw ABGs and perform neb treatments
Assist with conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
Support a level 2 nursery, managing bubble CPAP for neonates 32 weeks and up
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Washington State Respiratory Therapy (RT) license required
RRT or CRT certification required
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience with strong ventilator and bubble CPAP skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and troubleshooting
Bubble CPAP and oxygen delivery systems
ABG collection and analysis
Conscious sedation monitoring
Cardioversion standby procedures
Strong communication and patient assessment skills
