Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide top-notch care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neurological, and medical conditions
Titrate critical drips such as Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Monitor continuous EEG and telemetry, responding quickly to changes
Collaborate with charge nurses and techs to ensure safe patient ratios of 1:4-5
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed, expanding your skills
Participate in orientation with an open-book exam to set you up for success

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1 year of PCU or med-surg experience preferred
Positive attitude, strong communication, and critical thinking skills
Willingness to adhere to facility policies (e.g., no artificial nails)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
Proficiency in managing IV drips and titration protocols
Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
