Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts available (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, etc.), self-scheduling, every other weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a fast-paced PCU/Med Surg setting
Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient responses using ONS/ONCC guidelines
Titrate drips such as heparin and cardizem as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and educators
Float to Med/Surg and PCU units at the same level of care
Participate in hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and satisfaction
Document care in Epic EMR and use equipment like Alaris IV pumps and Lyko lifts

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of PCU and oncology experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Valid driver's license required for verification of distance from facility
Willingness to work every other weekend
Must pass an open-book exam during orientation with 90% or higher

Ventilator management
Hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000)
