Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Days) or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (NOC); every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a combined ED and MedSurg unit
Titrate drips and monitor telemetry for acute patients
Collaborate with a close-knit team to ensure seamless patient outcomes
Float to ED holds and step into charge nurse role as needed
Deliver high-quality nursing in a 22-bed facility with ratios of 1:4 acute and 1:6 swing

Qualifications

At least one year of recent MedSurg experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to work every other weekend and holiday
Comfortable with titrating drips and reading telemetry strips

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and drip titration
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to float between ED and MedSurg as needed
