Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Flexible 8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for acute medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients
Facilitate early mobilization and functional mobility to promote recovery
Assess patients' mobility status and determine safety for discharge or transfer to rehab
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans
Work independently in ICU, IMC, and Med/Surg units to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current Colorado Occupational Therapy license required
BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
Experience in acute inpatient care preferred
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of 8-10 patients daily

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Expertise in early mobilization and discharge planning
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to work in fast-paced acute care settings
