Location: Santa Maria, California

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate PET/CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring comfort and safety
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide compassionate care
- Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiography
- Valid California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of experience in PET/CT imaging preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in PET/CT scanner operation and image processing
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
