Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Tuesday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM (30-minute meal break)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in the Medical OT unit
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress
Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient independence
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention

Qualifications

Valid and current California LVN license
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
