Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients reach their goals
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies

Qualifications

Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain)
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
