Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, no weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy assessments and treatments for a mix of inpatient and outpatient patients
Develop and implement individualized care plans for ortho, neuro, wound care, and general debility cases
Collaborate with a supportive nursing and therapy team to optimize patient outcomes
Precept new staff as needed to ensure quality care
Document patient progress accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

Active Texas physical therapy license
National physical therapy license
Current BLS certification
IP/OP experience required
Wound care experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in orthopedics, neurology, and wound care
Ability to manage a caseload of 7 treatment hours per day
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to treat diverse diagnoses in a critical access hospital setting
