Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, including every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to neuro telemetry patients, including post-surgical and post-TPA cases
Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret EKGs to detect dysrhythmias
Maintain sterile field and adhere to strict sterile techniques during procedures
Collaborate with charge nurses, clinical supervisors, and interdisciplinary teams
Conduct patient assessments and document care accurately
Participate in orientation and pass required exams to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience within the past 6 months
Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (RELIAS) within 48 hours of offer
COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
Strong understanding of sterile technique and infection control
Experience with neuro telemetry patients, including stroke and post-craniotomy care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a 1:3-4 patient ratio
