Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, variable days (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple units including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
Float among five facilities in Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area) as needed
Titrate heparin drips and manage patients on monitoring
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6 based on acuity
Adapt quickly to different unit environments and patient populations

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience required
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Willingness to float within a 60-mile radius across multiple facilities
No home base facility – must be able to travel to any site in Zone 1

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medical-surgical and telemetry skills
Experience with neuro, cardiac, and orthopedic patients preferred
Ability to titrate heparin and manage IV drips
Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
