Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (day) or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (night); includes 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to adults in a fast-paced PCU, managing telemetry and titrating critical drips
Collaborate with a supportive team to handle frequent admissions, transfers, and discharges
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
Ensure safe, compassionate care while adhering to unit protocols and standards

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required for radius verification
Ability to pass an open-book exam on skills with 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and rhythm recognition
Experience titrating drips such as heparin, insulin, and octreotide
Strong teamwork and communication skills for high-acuity, high-flow environment
