Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Start Date: 07-13-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate occupational therapy support to patients in a rehab setting
Implement treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist to improve daily living skills
Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques

Qualifications

Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in New Mexico
At least 1 year of recent experience as a COTA (preferred)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Education

Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Time management and organizational skills
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
