Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (days and nights), every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analysis to assess patient respiratory status
Administer respiratory treatments and therapies across all age ranges from neonate to geriatric
Manage mechanical ventilators including PB980 and Hamilton C1
Provide non-invasive ventilation support with V60 BiPAP
Perform EKGs and other diagnostic tests as required
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement respiratory care plans
Serve as the sole respiratory therapist on-site when needed, ensuring patient safety and quality care

Qualifications

Active North Dakota Respiratory Therapy license at time of submission
CRT or RRT certification (RRT preferred)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS and NRP certifications preferred
Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with facial hair fit testing requirements if applicable

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Meditech EMR system
Experienced with PB980 and Hamilton C1 ventilators
Skilled in V60 BiPAP and non-invasive ventilation
Knowledge of oxygen delivery devices and respiratory protocols
Ability to handle a diverse patient population from 0-100 years
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
