Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Block scheduling (12-hour shifts), every other weekend, holiday rotation (1 summer and 1 winter holiday)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to Level 2 NICU infants and postpartum mothers
- Attend deliveries as the baby nurse to ensure safe transition
- Administer and monitor titratable drips such as D5W and TPN
- Perform IV starts and maintain IV access
- Assist with umbilical line placement and maintenance
- Flex between SCN and postpartum assignments as needed
Qualifications
- Current NRP and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years experience in Level 2 NICU and postpartum nursing preferred
- Proven ability to attend deliveries and care for newborns
- Experience with Bubble CPAP, High-flow oxygen, and ventilator management prior to transfer
- Comfortable titrating drips and managing TPN and D5W
- IV start and maintenance proficiency
Knowledge & Skills
- Neonatal resuscitation expertise
- Postpartum care and couplet nursing skills
- IV therapy and maintenance
- Respiratory support with CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow
- Ability to flex between NICU and postpartum units
- Strong communication and teamwork
