End Date: 11-09-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a cardiac telemetry and PCU overflow unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, identify changes, and intervene as needed
Titrate intravenous drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitroglycerin, and others
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to manage patient assignments (1:4-5 days, 1:5-6 nights, PCU patients 1:3)
Float to PCU for full patient loads or to medical-surgical units as needed

Qualifications

Must have PCU experience and ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience titrating cardiac drips
Epic experience preferred
First-time travelers welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry and cardiac care knowledge
Skilled in managing patients with cardiac conditions, sepsis, pneumonia, and acute on chronic conditions
Comfortable with Bipap, high-flow oxygen, and other respiratory equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, 32-bed unit with tele monitoring
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
