Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Varied 8-hour shifts between 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday-Friday with possible weekend shifts; days off given during week if weekend worked.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality physical therapy to a diverse patient population across acute care units, including ICU, med/surg, oncology, and cardiology
Specialize in orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation
Work with ventilated patients in the ICU
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Hit the ground running with minimal orientation

Qualifications

BLS certification
Active Physical Therapist license in California
Minimum 2 years of acute care PT experience
Experience with ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patients
Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in acute care physical therapy
Ability to manage complex patient populations
Effective communication and teamwork
Adaptability to varied shifts and patient needs
