Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes conditions
Titrate and manage critical drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Monitor continuous EEG and respond to neurological changes
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed to support the team
Maintain a positive attitude, strong communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license (compact or Nebraska license)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Valid driver's license (must be outside 50-mile radius from facility)
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and ability to titrate drips
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced unit with high acuity patients
Positive attitude and willingness to help others
