Location: Bismarck, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics
Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment including PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton, and Airvo
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in ICU, NICU, and emergency settings
Perform respiratory assessments and implement treatment plans
Respond to codes and emergencies with confidence
Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy procedures

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT certification required
Active North Dakota state license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1-2 years of NICU experience mandatory
Ability to work independently and make clinical judgments

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of neonatal and adult respiratory therapy
Proficiency in ventilator management (PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton)
Ability to handle high-stress situations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Time management and adaptability
