Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedule released 4-6 weeks in advance, includes weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in PCU/IMC units
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1, adapting quickly to different unit specialties
Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin with confidence
Monitor telemetry and assess patients with cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, and other conditions
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain a flexible attitude and help fill scheduling gaps as needed

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC nursing experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Comfortable titrating cardiac drips and managing complex medications
Prior neuro and Epic experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Strong assessment skills for adult and geriatric populations
Ability to float and adapt to various unit environments
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Time management and flexibility in a fast-paced setting
