Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, self-scheduling, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population on a combined PCU/MedSurg/Oncology unit
Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for adverse reactions
Manage titratable drips such as insulin and Cardizem
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT, OT, social work, and dietitians
Float to other PCU and MedSurg units as needed

Qualifications

1+ year of recent PCU, MedSurg, or Oncology nursing experience
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact license required
Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
Valid driver's license to verify radius rule compliance

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring including CVP, A-line, and Swan-Ganz
Experience with ventilator patients
Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
