Roles & Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy to patients with upper extremity orthopedic conditions, including shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures.
Evaluate and treat a caseload of approximately 12 patients per day, primarily in outpatient orthopedics.
Develop individualized treatment plans to restore function and improve quality of life.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care across acute inpatient, acute rehab, transitional care, and outpatient settings.
Document patient progress using ReDoc for outpatient and Meditech for acute care.

Qualifications

Oregon Occupational Therapy License required
BLS certification required
Experience in outpatient orthopedics, specifically upper extremity therapy is a must
Must have skills in treating shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation and upper extremity conditions
Familiarity with ReDoc and Meditech documentation systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and patient education skills
Lymphedema training is a plus
