Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM - 6:30 AM on-call; Saturday-Sunday, 6:30 AM - 6:30 AM on-call; regular day shifts when not on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI scans on patients using Siemens Avanto 1.5T equipment
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, explaining the process and addressing concerns
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to optimize image quality and diagnostic accuracy
Participate in on-call rotation, responding to urgent imaging needs within 1 hour
Assist in precepting new staff as needed

Qualifications

Active Texas state license (required)
ARRT certification in MRI
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Experience with Siemens Avanto 1.5T scanner preferred
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in MRI safety protocols and contrast administration
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records
Flexibility to float between campuses and adapt to changing workloads
